Business Meetings  Business people may need a day of team building and brainstorming, or a grueling day of budget and finance sessions, or to simply get away from the work site for a day or more and loosen the ties, take off the coats, get out of the high heels and get down to business in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.  Our staff at Silver Thatch Inn will make even the toughest agendas enjoyable. Private meetings rooms can seat from 12 to 42 comfortably.

Weddings and Rehearsal Dinners  Our staff will assist with planning your event, as well as off-site activities for your guests. Golf, spa appointments, hot air ballooning, and wine tasting are just a few of the activities that our staff will gladly arrange to help your guests relax and enjoy themselves.  Dining at Silver Thatch is truly a memorable experience, and our chef, Ed McLaughlin, and Terri Petrovits
will work with you to tailor your dinner menu to your liking and dietary needs.

Private Dinner Parties  Anniversaries, birthdays, promotions, or other special parties are handled with extraordinary care.  Our experienced innkeepers
and wait staff can take care of every detail.

For your guests lodging at the Inn, our rooms offer Serta pillow-top King and Queen sized beds, are well appointed, and offer wireless broadband Internet, flat-screen TVs, CD players, air conditioning, and luxurious bathrobes. During the winter months, wood burning fireplaces in many rooms offer a peaceful retreat.

Our authentic English Pub offers a wide selection of single malt Scotches, single barrel whiskeys, and a lovely variety of vodka, gin, and bourbons,
as well as the comfort of a true English Pub, where friends gather.

Silver Thatch is 2 hours from Washington, DC, 1-1/2 hours from Richmond, and less than 10minutes from Charlottesville Albemarle Regional Airport,
which is accessible by private jet.
