a neighborhood pub at The Silver Thatch Innlite fare, cold brews, tasty winesproudly serving house made fare with local & favorite craft brewsIn the Hollymead Neighborhood Hours: ***Iggy’s is closed for the winter & will reopen early March, but is available for events! Call Terri, 434-978-4686 for details. OUR STORYIn January 2013 we closed the restaurant portion of our Inn, including our much loved Iggy's Tavern. While the Inn is still a busy B&B and guests enjoy a glass of wine or beer during their stay & having a great time, something was still missing. Way back in mid-May, 2016, Terri decided it was time to get the energy and fun back into the pub, and the best way to do just that was to re-open – and reinvent – Iggy's Tavern. So after about two weeks of planning, researching, and gathering intelligence on craft beers, Iggy's Wine & Brew Pub, a neighborhood pub at The Silver Thatch Innopened on June 22, 2016 to a lot of applause and 'finally!' from neighbors and guests. Offering a selection of local and favorite craft & traditional brews, tasty wines with some new faces (Italy, Argentina & Spain!!), local & familiar faces. Iggy's also serves up lite fare such as Jim's meatballs with his delicious marinara sauce, Terri's house made noshes pimento cheese, hummus and pico de gallo – all served with house baked Naan chips. What would a Pub be without chocolate? A sad Pub, for sure. But not Iggy's.Bo's Bodacious Brownie Sundae (made by the Head Brownie Chick herself) offers layers of either the Original Mama all chocolate brownies or Bo's Fan Favorite Walnut brownies, with Terri's vanilla bean ice cream, Seriously Bodacious Chocolate Fudge & Salted Caramel sauces, whipped cream, toasted almonds & a cherry (of course.) Available in the summer. The parking is free, the beer is cold, the wine is delicious (experience our wonderful and ever-changing wine list), and the fare tasty. Local musicians will join the party every so often, and rumor has it a really tasty local FOOD TRUCK will swing by one or 2 days a week. Iggy's is perfect for an after work meet up with friends, a walk over for a glass of wine to treat yourself, or just a place to hang out & de-stress with a cold beer & meatballs. See you at Iggy's!
