The Silver Thatch Inn has a full-service restaurant offering contemporary cuisine for your Charlottesville dining pleasure. Dinner is served to the public Wednesday through Saturday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Reservations are strongly suggested for dinner, as the restaurant may be filled in advance of your arrival. The Inn offers a special dining experience in its intimate candlelit dining rooms.
Iggy's Tavern at the Silver Thatch Inn
is a small intimate tavern seating 12, which
offers casual food in an authentic pub atmosphere for our guests who would like
a light bite or a quick meal. The tavern is open to the public Wednesday through
Saturday evening from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday
evening from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No reservations
are accepted. The tavern is closed for dining on Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day,
Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, and UVA Graduation Weekend.
Whenever possible, we work with local farmers to ensure that only the finest, freshest produce reaches your table. All savory and sweet breads and fabulous desserts are housemade from scratch, as are all stocks and sauces. Holiday dining at the Inn is special.
